Vacation Bible Camp Returns with Egypt File
 After a fun-filled Vacation Bible Camp in Discovery City that included panning for gold, exciting Bible stories, new friends, fantastic games, great food and so much more, your friends at Beautiful Savior are planning an even better adventure for you in the sands of Egypt. In The Egypt File, you will have the opportunity to decode the mystery of life, as well as eat fun free dinners, see our famous skits and so much more. The whole family is invited! Beautiful Savior Unveils Saturday Worship
Do you feel prompted to worship more regularly, but find it difficult to get to a Sunday morning service? Are you looking for a service with power and meaning? If these are your thoughts, then Beautiful Savior has just the worship service for you! Beginning May 5, you are invited to a “relaxed worship” service every Saturday conveniently timed at 5:00. The worship will center on our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, as always, with a more Bible-study feel, personal prayer and worshipful and lyrical music. If you have any questions on this new format, or would like to voice your opinions to aid our service preparation, don’t hesitate to contact us at any time.
Kevin Hinckley Memorial Service
Set for Saturday, May 19, at 11:00 a.m.
Here at Beautiful Savior
The Kops Park family of friends is hoping for a spring-like day to remember Kevin Hinckley at the place that he loved perhaps the best: near Auer Garden at 85th and Auer. Beautiful Savior will host a brief memorial service at the church. Here, friends and neighbors will have the opportunity to briefly describe their remembrances of Kevin. Come prepared to share a story or memory of Kevin at his best … working for the betterment of his beloved community … bringing neighbors together to make improvements at the park … or just sharing a belly laugh following a good joke or pun.
Following the service, you’ll be invited to gather outside at Auer Garden, aptly named by Kevin. There, two benches will be dedicated to commemorate all that Kops Park native Kevin Hinckley has done for families in the area.
The memorial event will conclude following a light luncheon in Fellowship Hall of Beautiful Savior.
First Friday: Kid Tested, Parent Approved!
 
First Friday, our newest monthly event, is a huge hit for BSLC and Kops neighborhood families. For just $2 per child (out of diapers), parents are given a night off from 5:00-9:00 p.m., knowing that their little ones will start off with a simple supper and an evening of just plain kid fun. For the October, November and December First Friday events, about 23 kids enjoyed the chance to play with neighborhood friends in a safe, relaxed environment. Activities include (but are not limited to) a game night, ping pong, foosball, junior basketball buckets, air hockey, crafts or even a scavenger hunt or movie.
Since First Friday is gaining in popularity (with 37 happy kids in February!), we've split the kids into smaller age and activity groups. The kids love hanging out with their friends and neighbors! There’s even a quiet spot for readers who want to curl up with a good book, and we have some on hand for all ages. Take a moment to check out our photos in the photo tour -- updated monthly -- to measure our feedback in satisfied kid smiles. We sincerely enjoy bringing our community families together. The next First Friday parents’ night off at Beautiful Savior is Friday, June 1, 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. sharp. Pre-registration is strongly recommended so we can plan for meals! To register, use our online form or call (414) 871-6744 to register by phone.

First Friday
First Friday is now a regular neighborhood event, held on the first Friday of every month. The good word is out and that word is spelled F-U-N! Kops Park Rummage Sale Date Set
 While the neighborhood-wide Kops Park Rummage Sale is a two-day event, members of Beautiful Savior will hold our rummage sale only on Saturday, June 16, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Inquiries come in all year long about our mega-rummage, and we've already filled a half-classroom with items and deals galore. So save your pennies, and we'll see you in June!
